RV Travel editor Chuck Woodbury camped for a couple of days in Quartzsite, Arizona — “Ground Zero for boondocking RVers.”
Woodbury observed: “My experience in talking with other RVers is that they either love or hate Quartzsite. Some think it’s close to a heaven on Earth while others think it’s a bloody awful place to be avoided.
“I noticed on my visit that there were far fewer RVers present than when I visited in the past.”
